Bundle Monster 2010 Revised plateset *pic heavy*
Hey everyone! I remember when I just got back into polish again, and I started to discover stamping as well, I bought a few loose plates ánd my very first plateset. That set was the Bundle Monster 2010 set, and even though it was nice to start with, the full nail images were pretty small and most of the time my nails were too long for them! Especially after I got the 2011 set, the 2010 set started to collect dust, and I think that happened with the sets of a lot of people. But I always loved some of the images, and often thought "oh if only you were bigger"... I think Bundle Monster felt the same, because recently they decided to redo their 2010 set, and make most of the images a lot bigger! Today I have the review of them, so here it is, 2010 Revised :)
Here's the first mani I did with this new set, more on that below!
The set comes in a little resealable bag, the plates all have the blue protective film, and the plates have a protective cover at the back. The old set didn't have this yet (all later sets do have it!), and those plates are thinner and sharper.
The cherry French design at the bottom clearly shows the size difference, and I think these images also show a bit how the old set had thinner plates.
Bundle Monster says their French tips and full nail designs got bigger, but check that bottom right flower image! So some of the smaller images got bigger as well :)
And lastly, the improvement that makes me go yay! Look at the difference there! ♥ I of course added these new plates to my size comparison, that's at the bottom of this post.
Here are the plates on their own:
The full nail designs are now the same size as their latest sets, which is a perfect size for me!
Even though I'm very pleased with this 2010 Revised set, it isn't my favorite set, because you know I love my full nail images more than any and this set has less of those. But especially for all of you that love smaller images and French designs as well, this would be a great addition! I like how the set has such a huuuge variety of designs, from holiday designs to fruits and leaves, animals designs to geometrical, starry designs to tribals, you name it! Even if you already have the original set, this could be a nice set as well, because you get more use of a lot of these images.
You can buy this set, or the loose plates, at the Bundle Monster website. And if you want it, now is a perfect time to buy this set -or any other Bundle Monster products!- because Bundle Monster is having a Black Friday + Cyber Monday sale, and with code blackmonday you'll get an extra 15% off!
What do you think of the 2010 Revised set? :) Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Catrice Enter The Undergrowth, A England Dragon and BM-023.
And let's take a trip down memory lane, here are some of my older manis (most are from 2010) all done with the original set :) Check out that green design I used above as well, I had to make it into a taped mani because the image was too small to fully cover my nails, but there's no need for that anymore! ^^

Wild purple stamping
Here's a mani from the vault, and I forgot to write down what I used, so I'm not 100% sure on the basecolor. But I think it was OPI, so I'll just go with that :P Every time I stamp with WAH i wonder why I don't use it more often, it gives such a gorgeous result!
Thanks for stopping by :)

Incoco Jackpot
Hi guys, here's the last set of Incoco nail polish strips that I received, and wow, they're amazing!! Normally with glitter polish you'll have at least 3 coats, 2x glitter and 1x top coat, but we all know some glitters need 3 coats and a lot more top coat to get a smooth result. These strips however, have base/color/top in 1 thin, smooth, SPARKLY layer! ^^ And no messy cleanup either, awesome!
These strips are called Jackpot and they're from the Halloween collection, and the color is indeed perfect Halloween burnt orange. Here's a daylight pic that shows the color better, pretty right? But when you hold it near a lamp...woah! Magic right there!
See how thin and smooth this is, without top coat? And how neat they are near my cuticles? ♥
On a sidenote, if you're not so into strips because you prefer your own nail art, then you might like this great tip from one of my readers as well. Thanks a lot for sharing this, Anna! :)
"I used a nude coloured one & stamped over it just before Christmas last year as I knew I was going to be away from all my polish things. It lasted a full 10 days with only minimal wear on 1 or 2 nails."
Aren't these gorgeous?! Thanks for looking!

Cozy Incoco strips
Hey all! The 2nd set of Incoco nail polish strips that I received are these adorable Christmas sweater design strips, aren't they cute? :)
These strips are called Cozy Up and I applied them all in the same direction, but because these strips have rounded ends on both sides, you could also apply half upside down. Or when your nails aren't as long either, just pick the side that you like the most :) And won't these make great accent nails?
For more info on how to apply them, check out my first review of Incoco strips here! And Kelsie's Nail Files gave a good tip as well (thanks for that, Kelsie!), these strips are supposed to last for up to 14(!) days, wrapping your tips with top coat doesn't only give smooth tips but also helps to make the strips last longer. I always wrap my tips with nail art, but because these strips don't need top coat, I didn't use that here either. However, next time I'll wear strips I'll definitely wrap them as well!
What do you think of this design, isn't it perfect for Winter? Have a lovely weekend & take care!

Incoco nail polish strips
Good morning all :) I recently received some Incoco nail polish strips for review, and I have to say, I'm very impressed with these! I'll tell you why below, but here's the result of the first set I tried:
The set I'm showing here is called Fashion Fusion, neon pink with black lace.
Here's what I received, 3 sets (I'll be showing the other 2 in my next 2 posts, especially the glitters wowed me!), a little nail file and orangewood stick, and a folder with info and a bunch of their shades. And they have a LOT of different strips, way more than shown on that folder. From normal polish to glitter to nail art, but also French designs and pedicure designs!
Incoco has a clear vid on their site about how to apply these, but you can already see from the sealed package that these ain't your average nail strips. They're actual polish strips, instead of the usual stickers. And if you have any doubts, opening the package and smelling them will convince you, hah! They also included base and top coat in them, I didn't finish this mani with top coat either. The package also comes with a big silver sticker which I used to reseal the little bag that holds the strips. It's to prevent them from drying out, but even if they would dry out a little, I bet they still work then by using them as a decal as I showed here.
The strips come in plenty different sizes (16 strips in total), ánd both the top and bottom part of each strip can be used near your cuticles, depending on the shape that works best for you. I haven't seen that before with strips, but I like it! After applying them, you give them a gentle stretch and rub them, and somehow they end up smooth and even on every single nail, no bubbles, no wrinkles, nothing like that!
And as you can see, they're long enough to fit even on very long nails (I even kept my nails long for the reviews of these, lol). I think I could easily get 2 nails done with 1 strip if I'm careful. However, the little file that came along didn't work as nicely for me, as you can see on my tips, it felt a bit too coarse/smooth for me, and for the next sets I went with a different file to get a better result at my tips.
As I said before, I'm very impressed with these, and what I really like as well, smooth, shiny glitters and neon polish in a thin strip without having to use lots of layers to get that result! They're supposed to last for 14 days, but I'm sure you'll understand that I haven't tried that, I can't remember ever wearing a mani for that long =)
You can buy the Incoco nail polish strips in their webshop. What do you think of their strips, would you use them? Thanks for stopping by ♥

There's one thing that really caught my attention in these previews, and that's the sand polish! But it wouldn't be the first time the preview of Essence looks much better to me than the real thing, so I'll just have to wait and see :) What do you think of these collections?
