Hi lovelies! Our hot weather continues, so it's time to empty my vault a bit. I have some mani ideas, but the thought of polishing (and risking bubbled polish on top of that), isn't really doing it for me right now! But when temperatures drop a little bit, there's plenty ideas in my head to get going with, that's for sure :) Today I have some Dance Legend swatches + nail art for you, with polishes from the Velvet, Sahara Crystal, Binary and Enamel Gel-Effect 2 collections.
Starting with 2 polishes from the Velvet collection. They apply ok, not as streaky bad as other mattes, but as with most mattes, they just don't apply as smooth as a creme polish. But they sure make up for that with coats needed! This is 2 coats on each, which gives an even, fully covered result. And they dry very fast as well (which I think is why mattes can apply a little streaky, simply because they dry faster). I think these polishes are perfect as nail art bases, not only are you quickly done with your basecolor, you can also see when they're dry enough for the next step, haha. And if that's not enough, they're cute on their own as well! Do like! The colors that I received are a slightly muted, soft babyblue & babypink.

Next we have some textured polishes from the Sahara Crystal line, and again, I really like these :) Lets keep it short: easy application, 2 coats, good drying time, nice textured finish. These definitely score high on my textures list because of that! Here we have a peach with golden glitter, and a pink (which looks a bit softer irl). The peachy one is my favorite of these 2, isn't it pretty?

Next up are 2 creamy polishes, from the Binary collection and the Enamel Gel-Effect 2 collection, which so far are my 2 most favorite collections ever for cremes! Why? Excellent application, covers in 2 coats (that goes for the lighter colors that I've tried as well), a huge range of colors and look at that shiiiine! ♥ Yes, these swatches are without top coat! The blue polish is a bit too much for my (skills with my) camera, it's so vibrant and rich! It does have a downside though, it's a little stainer, so you do want to use basecoat with it. But having said that, it's one of my favorite blues, I just love that color!! I already posted nail arts with these, here's the pink and here's the blue.

When I finished swatching the Velvets and Sahara Crystals, I went for a nail art with those as well. I followed Marta's Skittlette post, and here's the result of that. I love some of the combos she does, but on me it felt a bit weird, haha. Maybe I have to get used to it, maybe I need to be bolder with colors? The image that I used wasn't one that jumped out to me on the plate and I probably wouldn't have used it anytime soon, if it wasn't for a nailart that I saw on Instagram where it was used as well. It made me look at it completely different and got me eager to see the image on my nails, where it didn't disappoint :)
