The plate that I used today has an image in 2 ways, which makes it great for accent nails. And that's exactly what I did with it :) At first I just wanted to stamp the same image on all nails, but ended up using the reverse image on my ringfinger. I do prefer it like it's on most of my nails, but an accentnail like this does add a fun extra to a mani! And I found out my basecolor covered enough that I probably could've gotten the same result by switching the polishes around and keeping 1 image, have to try it for stamping some time.
OPI Schnapps Out Of It! stamped with China Glaze Poetic and 2 images from BM plate 313.
As I mentionned in a previous post, I'm still looking for lightboxlamps and got some nice tips there. Thanks for those! :) For those of you who are wondering what lamps would be good, I can only tell you what I've heard from some other bloggers. I bought a daylight lamp myself, but as it turns out, there's a difference between a daylight lamp and a lamp that has daylight color, if that makes sense. So that lamp wasn't exactly doing the trick, heh. But Ivana was using a 6500 K cool daylight lamp, Salla was using a 4000k cool white lamp. She also said that 2.7k is warm yellow light, 4k neutral and 6.5k cool, blue light. (Things slowly started to make a bit more sense with their help, lol) When I find the right lamp that's working well for me, I'll of course post it here!
Thanks for looking!
