Hi all! As you maybe saw on my Instagram, I got an amazing package yesterday from Dance Legend, and oh boy, those polishes are just SO friggin' awesome! They're all very unique and pretty, but some are a combination of various polish finishes. It's like Dance Legend thinks "let's do a holo, but wait, why stop there?" and then they add more, all the way up to a duochrome with a linear holo ánd scattered holo effect, I mean, woah! Some of those polishes are really insane, and that's great on your nails of course, but the downside for me is that my camera is absolutely clueless about how to deal with that. If it could talk, I think it would just laugh in my face and say "how about NO"! Soooo, I'll wait with those until I can try it with my dad's camera, if that doesn't work I'll have another go with my own. But in the mean time I'll just start showing the other beautiful polishes, those crazy multichromes will come a little bit later! :)
The polish that I have today is from the Holodays collection, and it's number 853 Neptune. Neptune is a linear holo with scattered holographic particles on top! It applied and dried great, I went with 3 thin coats here, no top or basecoat. 2 coats will work too though, especially when using a special basecoat for holographic polishes (I usually wear holos with Make Up Store Aqua Fix).
Isn't it stunning?! ♥ The holographic effect is strong enough to even pop up a bit in daylight, but when the sun hits it... Yep, definitely one of those dangerous-in-traffic polishes! :) The color is a bit more jeans blue in daylight than the photo below shows.
I did my best to capture it, but just like a lot of holo polishes, it looks even better irl! I'm so gonna enjoy wearing this one :)
Thanks for stopping by ♥
