Femme Fatale Cosmetics is currently having the presale for this collection, and it's yet again a beautiful set of polishes. Here's what FFC says:
"The White Witch Collection comprises of several seasonal shades in a complimentary palette and with various finishes. Our palette is inspired by classic autumn and winter scenery, and the collection is themed to the White Witch (Queen Jadis) from the Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis."
The collection is packed with all kinds of goodness, from flakies to duochrome, from thermal to holo glitter. Curious to see them? Here they are! ♥
Heart's Desires
Heart's Desires is an old rose pink base, with fine coppery glitter and with the well known red-to-green flakies. I applied 2 thicker coats for this result; full coverage but with the flakies still very visible. What a unique combo, very pretty as well!
Her Imperial Majesty
Her Imperial Majesty covered in just 2 coats, and it's a purple base with magentapink microglitter that very subtle leans golden on the edges. Purple perfection :)
Hundred Years Winter
Hundred Years Winter is another 2-coater, a dark dusty mauve with a strong blue-teal duochrome. Unfortunately my camera mainly picked up the blue. I haven't seen a duochrome with these colors before, and it applied great as well!
Lantern Waste
Lantern Waste is another flakie, it's like a muted, grey-ish blue packed with the red-to-green flakies. It reminded me a little of good old Nfu-Oh #51, but then more mature, if that makes sense. I definitely prefer this one, love the basecolor! I used 3 thin coats here.
Lion's Breath
Time for thermal, and a very unique one that is! Lion's Breath is a rich, brown base packed with golden holographic glitter. I used 3 thin coats here. Above it's shown as cold, below is the transition to warm, and then how it looks warm. As you can see, it becomes a clear beige! If you dislike the clear part of it, you can always wear this with undies. Love the cold look!
The above macro also shows some visible nail lines, but that's not visible in real life when your nails are cold.
Moonlight Statues
Moonlight Statues has a purple and blue (leaning teal) duochrome base, packed with holographic glitter in different sizes. Yum! I used 2 thicker coats here.
The First Northern Witch
The First Northern Witch is more calm compared to the previous polish, but not less intricate. It's a grey base, filled with various shades of golden glitter (I'm seeing gold, silvery gold and bronze gold) and shimmer, from very fine to a bit larger, and it has some holographic microglitter as well. Another beauty that covered in 2 thicker coats.
The Secret Of Secrets
Pff, where to start! This one's extra tricky to describe, there's just SO much going on here! I'll give it a go: The Secret Of Secrets has a duochrome base, rose pink to green-golden, which can even look a bit muted grey. There's coppery pink flakies, and smaller bits of flakies in all kinds of colors. It surely matches it's name, haha! Just like most of these, this one's unlike anything I own, and it's definitely one of those polishes that just keeps pulling your attention! :)
As you probably figured, all my swatches are with top coat, they all gave a smooth result with just 1 layer of top coat (and I used a thinner one for my swatches). The presale for this gorgeous collection started yesterday and will run till the 5th of this month. So, if you want to grab any of these, don't wait too long! You can find them in various webshops like Shiro Cosmetics, FFC also has a Facebook group, and you can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on social media like Instagram as well.
What do you think of this collection, and which one is your favorite? I can't choose, probably one of the red-to-green flakies or the thermal, but if you can pick a favorite, I'd love to hear it! :)
